The Ford Falcon (FG) is a full-sized car that was produced by Ford Australia from 2008 to 2014. It was the first iteration of the seventh and last generation of the Falcon . Its range no longer featured the Fairmont luxury badge, replaced instead by the G Series.

The FG carried on the tradition in 2008 with the XR6 sports sedan and an LPG-engined version for those who wanted to cut their fuel bills. It was an attractive four-door sedan with flowing lines and nicely balanced proportions, with added touches to give it a sporting feel.
