I know a lot of people hate it's LB3 because the timing is always so bad and it's blinding. Honestly though, if timed right, it shouldn't be hated, but the players who don't time it right.

Red Mage LB3 visually will turn your screen white (for allies) if you're standing too close to it. Because players can't see mechanics while it's resolving, it often causes raid wipes. The comic captures it pretty accurately.
