Sep 20, 2021 · The advantage of playing FF14 on PC vs console has always been about the easy accessibility to outside functions rather than the performance imo. Simply being able to alt-tab freely, copy links from chat, mods, and being able to do other things on the same system while waiting for something in-game are all things you can't do on a console.

Apr 8, 2022 · Characters are saved server side so you'll just buy the PC version, install it, and log in. What you will want to do is go into your PS5 version, hit square on your character and upload local data to the servers, then on the PC version hit square/right click your character and download that local data.

Jan 2, 2022 · If the PS5 controller works for you without disconnecting using native stay with it by all means. If it keeps doing it I would suggest getting a Wired Xbox360 controller or Wired Xbox1 controller. They are natively supported by both PC and FFXIV

Jul 6, 2021 · Probably a little too late of a comment, I have both PS5 and a 3070 alienware laptop that I mainly use as a desktop LOL. I game on 1440p and not 4k but I can pretty much max out the graphics and keep the fps between 100-250fps during fights and about 60-110 on Limsa, so not only are the frames smooth, the game looks crisper and sharper on PC too.

Dec 31, 2021 · I've only played the game on PS5 and it works perfectly fine. Gameplay is very well optimised for controller. Just make sure to get a plug in keyboard for chat and search purposes. As others have said you can't actually buy the game right now. Keep an eye on the game over the next month since queues will probably start clearing up in January.

Apr 16, 2021 · Now I want to create a new SE account with a new email, so I can play the PS5 free trial to enjoy the game until the end of heavensward instead of having to pay 100+ $ to buy the game again and for the monthly subscriptions (since I can’t play the free trial because i already bought the game on the old account).
