Mar 26, 2020 · Nearly any job can solo fates with choco heals, they aren't great but their better than nothing. Like others have said healers are the ideal classes cause you pretty much can't die. And RDM imo is the ultimate fate soloer. Tanks are kinda meh for fates cause dps wise they're slow but again, almost unkillable.

Achievement fates often, but don't always, have a 30 min timer, if you see a fate in a zone with more than 15 mins remaining it almost 100% has an achievement associated with it. They also tend to hit too hard and have too much HP to do solo, you'll want to shout for backup if no one is near or blue mage can cheese a bunch of them.

It's not uncommon to have more FATES for the lower portion of the level range than the others (more 72 FATES in Ill Mheg than 73s). Given you're still in suitable reward range simply go for what more people are doing.

Feb 9, 2015 · I do 40-41 CCH fates, 41-44 Stone Vigil NM grind with CCH fates in between queues. 44-47 is Dzemael Darkhold grinding with Bluefog leves in between and finally finish off 47-50 with nothing but North Than fates. If you ever encounter some downtime between North Than fates, you can always do a quick Bluefog leve or two at the most.

Also, been told doing the fate chain when cooldown is over has a chance to spawn final fate in the next 2 hours. I think that happened to me. Jul 24, 2015 · to further expand how fates work (many people still dont know): for elite (single mob) or boss fates, aggro (healing aggro, dps aggro tank aggro) seems to be the key to success. (also to mention it, A/S ranks work this way too). so as a tank or healer, its possible to get more credit by using aggro (aoe healing) abilities then trying to just dps.

Jul 27, 2015 · Eh, solo leves are merely ok compared to pre-50 dungeon spam now, since the armory bonus is 100% instead of 50% and doesn't apply to leves. Leves should still barely beat FATEs if you're properly geared for your level and have a decently leveled chocobo, but even then you get rekt by NThan.
