Oct 31, 2002 · We normally put threads in the barrel to blank adapt, but with the fal screw in BFA it is not necessary to add the threads on the FS. Just make a screw in plate with a hole in it, sized to fit the blank charge, for the ultimate thrift method. I have one for my G1.

Feb 12, 2012 · They resemble the standard FAL short combo BFA, but instead of a post with male threads on the bottom, it has no post, and female threads. To make things more interestind, the threads are 9/16x24 RIGHT hand.

The set contains the cleaningtool, brush, cord, oilcan, brassdeflector and BFA blankfiring adaptor. The BFA abbrevation in Belgium is ATB. A few variants are made in the cleaning key.

Blank firing adapters are required for allowing blank ammunition to cycle the bolts of most semi-automatic and automatic firearms. It can also be a safety feature designed to break up the (wooden or plastic) plugs replacing the bullet in military blanks.

Jun 30, 2003 · I just bought a BFA from E-bay, it's the 1968 model. When I opened the box (in his original wrapping), I noticed direct the big hole in the tube of the BFA. I thought it had something to do with the diffent gassystem (I only know FAL and MAG BFA's, and they have a much smaller hole) of the M14.

Jul 30, 2010 · When the Pc rifle was used in normal (non-jumping) field exercises, a standard BM59 Ital BFA would be used. The 3rd type was for the BM59E and Italian 7.62mm Tipo 2 M1 Garand. It looks similar to Standard BM59 Ital BFA. It replaces the BM59E Muzzle Break or the Garand Gas Cylinder Lock.

Dec 15, 2005 · There is also the Type A bare muzzle BFA, and also one for the G1. We used the red one in the Dutch Army. It works on the FN Fal, Steyr StG-58, other metrics, FN CAL and FNC. no. At least, I am not aware of any BFA that would fit it. Perhaps a US M60 device could be adjusted. BTW, I have BFA's for sale. Refinished. $10 each, $10 ship.
