Mar 23, 2020 · DCS F/A-18C Hornet has a binding called Autopilot/Nosewheel Steering Disengage (Paddle) Switch. This binding will disengage the autopilot, the G-limiter, and nosewheel steering. I understand that this is how it works on the real thing. However, in simulator context, our equipment doesn't always match the real aircraft.

Jun 3, 2022 · There is a toggle for nosewheel steering that was added in the SU9 update. You can either bind a key for that, or click the button in the virtual cockpit. It’s near the bottom of the joystick, labeled paddle switch. You may need to set your nosewheel steering axis too.

The paddle switch will give you 33% more G available than what you can currently pull. Your current G limit is displayed on the FCS page. You have to hold it as you pull. I believe the key binding is autopilot disengage/paddle switch.
