Produced by North American Aviation, the Sabre is best known as the United States' first swept-wing fighter that could counter the swept-wing Soviet MiG-15 in high-speed dogfights in the skies of the Korean War (1950–1953), fighting some of the earliest jet-to-jet battles in history.

The F-86 Ejection seat is a good example of the first generation ejection seat. Designed to do little more than keep the pilot in place in the aircraft, and toss him out, it was of little value below 1000 feet.

Feb 28, 2014 · The F-86D seat was very different from that used on the F-86A/E/F versions, particularly in the headrest area. The only resin version of it I have seen is the old Hi Tech set, which was released shortly after the Hasegawa kit came out, so it's quite old now.
