Sep 14, 2008 · For EZGO golf cart the accessories are plentiful for 1996 and newer. If you want a PDS golf cart you'll be looking at 2000 and newer. In 2001.5 they changed the steering setup. Most people like the new steering setup better but the front axle (stock) is weaker in my opinion.

Oct 17, 2010 · PDS means Precision Drive System, it's a sepex motor (regen). EZGO made 3 drive systems up until they introduced the RXV drive in 2008. They are a "series" drive made up until 2007 or so, a DCS drive from 1995 until mid 2000 and a PDS from mid 2000 to present.

Both the DCS and the PDS respond well to the Alltrax controller upgrade packages like #505 or 808 on the cartsunlimited website. The DCS will produce lots of torque and 20mph on the 505 package. The PDS will produce additional torque & speed up to 24 mph on pkg #808 I hope this helps

Jun 2, 2023 · On my 2001 EZGO TXT PDS cart, after checking other items in the electrical system, seems like I need to replace the controller. Since this is an old Curtis 73326g02 300 amp, any problems if I jump up to one that is 350 amps, as there seems to be plenty of them around.
