Feb 4, 2024 · I ask because it sounds like you're mixing Apples and Horse Turds. Assuming you got your Experian score directly from Experian, then it is a true FICO score; assuming you got your Equifax and TransUnion scores from either those two web sites or from the likes of CreditKarma, then those are the turds as those scores are Vantage 3.0 and not FICO.

Experian is total garbage. Former employer had a breach of security in which my name and Social Security number was released. I was given a free membership to Experian ID works. I signed up for it and saw that there were $90,000 worth of loans as well as three credit cards that did not belong to me on the report.

Dec 29, 2024 · The Experian finally did update the Sync Amazon card balance to 0 and it went up 2 points to 769. Not as much as I was expecting it to but it did go up. In total only Kohls Charge has a balance of $109 (other than the $4 Mercury balance left on purpose) but that didn't seem to affect Exp - only Equifax (by 4 points) and TU (by 3 points).

Jan 23, 2023 · That is a legitimate email address from Experian. Which doesn't make this email legitimate - email "From" fields are as easy to spoof as phone number are. When OP doesn't know enough to ask the right question, we need to give them the information they need, not just answer the specific question they asked.
