Jun 12, 2009 · This is very similar to some of the split routines that espouse sets of low explosive reps, normal 10-12 rep sets and high rep sets, interspersed with days of lower intensity workouts (Fred hatfield's system, if I am not mistaken); the difference being that the full-body suggested here looks at different rep ranges on different days.

Jun 15, 2009 · It can be, since your protein synthesis has reached its baseline, and a DIFFERENT neuromuscular adaption will be need for a different exercise. And this is exactly the reason, why an advanced bodybuilder should cycle exercises and intensity session to session if using a full-body routine. Hope that clears up the issue somewhat.

Like if you want to build strength in any rep range, take as much rest as you need. This routine goes against some of the things I've always heard in terms of lifting routines.
