Nov 26, 2021 · Gives Esmeralda a shield that scales with Magic Power and decaying movement speed. Steals any nearby enemy hero's shield for Esmeralda. She can absorb shields up to half her HP (shield from other sources like turtle buff or Aegis can still give shield even over 50% HP). 2nd skill: Deals AoE damage around Esmeralda and very slightly slows.

Esmeralda works because she has good sustain (shield), which you can boost by buying tank items that improve regen and shield. Tank Lancelot works because of his passive skill, increasing his damage. A tank saber would be useless except for his crown control skill.

Aug 11, 2023 · On the original book, Esmeralda actually is French (so white) but was kidnapped then switched as a baby and brought up as a Romani. So yes…ok for a person to be white in the role. However, most people haven’t read the original book.
