Solved: I have code on tv 003 won't do anything. Some cell providers restrict data through hotspots. Sometimes, it's based on the size of the download.

Jan 7, 2025 · I am having this issue as well and nothing I am have tried is working. It needs to update but of course since it can’t connect to the internet it won’t update therefore it’s stuck at the set up screen….

May 27, 2021 · ERROR 003 on 2 roku devices @Mungers , all I can suggest is to use your phone as a hotspot, if possible, and connect to that to just to get through the initial update. Make sure it's set to use a channel from 1 to 11 on 2.4GHz.
