Oct 12, 2024 · if i buy gta 5 on my account on steam, and if i have gta 5 downloaded, can i transfer the files from the epic games gta 5, to the newly bought gta 5 on steam, and just create a new rockstar account connected through steam?, so i don't need to wait 10hrs downloading it, or is it simply impossible, or just too hard?

GTA V Enhanced on Epic Games Store Players who own GTA V will receive the Enhanced edition for free automatically. There may be a slight delay before everyone who already owns GTA V receives their copy of the Enhanced edition. The same thing happened, when I bought Fall Guys after saving up for months, just two months later, the game went free which was also in Epic Games and was sadly removed from steam. So please give me an advice if I should buy GTA 5 from steam or Epic Games.

This is a dumb answer that's not a fee but rebuying the whole game again, why would I want that, if I already paid for it on Epic Games, that would make the cost of all this go into 100s of dollars, a fee would be if they made me pay 5$ to move the game from Epic to Steam, which I would be up to, I'd pay for this.
