This gown is made of a mossy olive green silk velvet and lined with green brocade. The center front panel of the skirt can be pulled up to the side to reveal the brocade underskirt. The oversleeves are lined with brocade, and the undersleeves are brocade.

This dress is first seen when Éowyn runs up the steps to go to her injured cousin, Theodred. It is also seen in his bed chamber while she sits at his side. It looks to be made of two layers: the dark green velvet overgown, and the lighter brocade undergown.
