You missed the point. Autumn was the only member of the Enclave who even knew about the plan, and as commander he directed the Enclave forces against the Lone Wanderer to oppose it. It wasn't the "Enclave's" plan, it was Eden's plan. It's true it happened to serve the long term interests of what Eden believed the Enclave wanted.

The biggest difference between BoS and Enclave is how to define "mutant". The Enclave believes basically anyone that's been exposed to radiation needs to be wiped out. That was the entire point behind the Enclave's project in Fallout 2. They were going to release an FEV cloud onto the mainland from their oil rig that would kill anything alive.

Aug 23, 2019 · FO3 doesn't have a faction system. The Enclave are the antagonists, there is no way to join them. The BoS will help you along during the main storyline, but since FO3 doesn't have a faction system, "joining" the BoS is basically just for flavor.

Enclave was first defeated in 2242, with the destruction of the Poseidon Oil Rig. The rest of the Enclave forces migrated to the East towards Capital Wasteland to flee the remaining forces of New California Republic, arriving in Capital Wasteland. 35 years later, they were finally destroyed in a war against the Brotherhood of Steel.

Jan 11, 2020 · The Enclave doesn’t appear until after the quest where your dad dies (Waters of Life, maybe?). I got some off of one of the soldiers that attack the purifier and think that was the 1st time I saw it. After that you can find them on random patrols and outposts throughout the wasteland. Probably have to be fairly high level though.

Plus, during FO2 they had Frank Horrigan, possibly the single deadliest thing in Fallout period. By the time of FO3, the technology gap shrunk, and the Enclave numbers had dwindled.

The Enclave had better armor, domesticated deathclaws, and a giant mobile artillery unit, which lets not forget, destroyed Liberty Prime, and if you took the right option, destroyed the citadel as well.
