As you would expect from the company that pioneered digital sampling the EIIIx series features true 16-bit resolution for the purest audio quality possible. Proprietary DSP technology gives you pitch transposition capabilities over an incredible 10 octave range without aliasing, imaging.

E-mu Systems marketed the EIIIx range on the basis of their proprietary DSP technology (10 octave transpositions without aliasing, imaging or clock noise), the digital features and the optional remote control software for the Mac.

EIIIX memory is very rare, so a fully loaded unit like this one is worth more than a base model. I will also include ISO images of the 17-volume EIIIX library. Up to you whether you want to buy a SCSI2SD or burn them to CD.

This handy orchestra‑in‑a‑box had one big advantage over the competition (not that there was much at the time): the sustaining instruments were all looped, and, in the great Emu tradition, every sample was perfectly in tune!
