EMMA SAAL, studio owner . A native of DC, I grew up taking summer ballet at the Washington School, attending the local University of MD, and moving into Dupont in my early 20’s. Full-time assistant to a real estate developer, part-time cocktail waitress, my life seemed comfortably familiar and my lifestyle pretty unhealthy.
