The Emco 120 family has several options for workholding. The standard 120 came with the following, manual 3 jaw chuck Ø80mm, Ø85mm; Original manual chucks are front mounted with bolts near the center and have a Ø70mm recess. Any front mounted chuck can be installed if an adapter plate is used.

These also have the same basic configuration, but are equipped with 3 phase steppers for axis drive and use the Emco PC based control running WinNC. These machines have interchangeable keypad interfaces for teaching industrial controls, like Fanuc 0T, 21T, Siemens, and others.

It uses a 24VDC motor and has 4 photosensors for feedback (also 24VDC). It works by ratcheting: it moves the turret past a station, then reverses into the station and holds the motor in reverse, keeping the turret securely backed up against a pawl.
