The mere mention of his name is enough to stir up disdain and controversy in the Lookism community, almost certainly seeing that a few choice words and phrases will be thrown around -- whether it be fraud, stupid, or bad writing, L, and the like, we've all seen our fair share of Eli hate.

Jul 3, 2021 · Jang-hyun and I had a long discussion in another post about Eli’s fighting style, we didn’t agree overall but we both made some interesting points. Basically I argue Eli’s fighting style involves deliberately “making his opponents lose their cool” by chocking them and using intimidation tactics, thus actually weakening them temporarily.

Mar 10, 2021 · 1. Eli Jang vs Olly Wang (Hostel Arc) Now, Eli and Olly as characters alone are not in my top 5. I also had a good amount of problems with the Hostel arc (including Olly's abuse feeling like a retcon). That being said, this fight was the best for me all around. It had, in my opinion, the best choreography ever.

Mar 11, 2023 · Eli's growth in the recent chapters is similar to Taesoo's growth after his loss to James, in this sense, they he had grown physically stronger but mentally more unstable. It's just that in Eli's case, his physical growth overshadowed his weak mind to make him stronger, while the opposite happened to Taesoo.

I knew that the story was meant to be a tragedy from beginning to end but Eli was set up to have the most tragic story and Olly was turning out to be an unlikeable, one dimensional villain. But then the ending of the Hostel arc.

Oct 18, 2023 · Compare and Contrast: Werewolf Boy vs Eli Jang Character Introduction SAME - Both are introduced wearing a tattered green sweater, with messy / overgrown hair, (a bit in the style of the “wolf cut.”) They are both clearly outsiders to society. Both of them were hostile when first met. DIFFERENT - Eli is tattered, but clean and attractive.

Eli already had experience on fighting the same fighting style Taesoo uses with many opponents, Hudson actually being a major one, so he already knows beforehand where to watch out. Taesoo on contrast, doesn't know shit about Eli. Eli evolved to a level narratively and feat wise where from the looks of it, low diffed Seongnam.
