Sep 6, 2008 · Have a chance to buy a nice Miracord 620U. It's in nice condition but lacking a headshell. I have a source for one. $20. I used to have one and remember liking it well. How is it by changer standards? I am curious! I have a model 40 and like it really well! I use mine for 78s and am very pleased with it.

I went through and tested everything and turntable is working except for two issues. Also, the lift pressure is low, but works with a small shim under the lift.

Sep 8, 2008 · It was a stereo unit wired for mono and I think that I rewired it for stereo. I remember that I had it connected to an old frankenstein parts monster of a tube amp and a computer many years ago. Miracord was a trademark of Elac.
