May 15, 2019 · First install edain, then disable edain through the launcher, then install 2.02, then install aotr and you’re all set to play aotr. To switch back to edain simply disable 2.02 and enable edain. A good move is also to make a copy of your folder before you install any mod so as to be able to easily restore it if something happens

Apr 23, 2020 · I loved edain, the new units, the new mechanics for Mordor and isengard specifically, the ring heroes and the amazing maps that are entire campaigns in themselves. But I really can't live with the bfme1 bases they have since version 4, I dont understand them and I just love the spamming of different buildings too much.

Feb 9, 2021 · Remember that you have to run Edain via rotwk icon, NOT as admin , and WITHOUT any compatibility mode. Administrator privileges conflict with mini CD images , so running mod via Edain launcher will not work.

Jun 14, 2022 · Now go ahead and rename that rotwk patched one to something else and Edain the proper name. Voila, should work just fine. The reason for all this is that the latest rotwk patch comes with a no cd key game.dat file but it is incompatible with Edain mod (which uses the latest official), hence forth the reason for the renaming and copying.

May 5, 2020 · Mhm, okay, let me just look at how it is installed on my comp, BTW when playing Edain mod again are you using the included version switcher and you have made sure that the version you use when playing AOTR is the correct one. I know you can have both installed and switch between them because I have that.
