NYU Stern’s Business and Political Economy (BPE) is a four-year, STEM-eligible degree that combines business fundamentals and social impact with an in-depth study of political economy—examining how markets, governments, and policies shape global economic outcomes.

The BPE degree will prepare students for a broad array of international business careers at multinational corporations, in government, at non-profit organizations, and more.

First-year students currently in the BS and Khubani BTE programs are eligible to transfer into BPE. The BPE transfer application includes two essay questions of no more than 500 words each. Admissions decisions will be sent out during the January term.

Apr 1, 2017 · The BPE NYU program (I'm familiar with it) may confuse recruiters - 'is this student a poly-sci major, econ major, etc?'. Everyone and their mother, so to speak, understands and knows UPenn Wharton.

Your BPE specific classes aren’t hard as long as you do the work (and considering the classes BPE courses replace, it’s less work than the avg. Stern student). Kids pulling all-nighters all the time would be doing the same if they weren’t in BPE.

This is the capstone course for the BS in Business and Political Economy (BPE). The objective of the course is to provide students with an opportunity to place their work in BPE in perspective and examine historical, political and economic issues that have not yet been explored.
