Feb 16, 2023 · I just got a Quest 2 and it’s pretty sweet for VR. The depth perception and immersion is next level. I don’t think I can go back to 2D. Just having everything being full-size scale is amazing. The trucks feel big, the environment is more impressive. Just everything is better. As far as starting off, VR generally take a pretty beefy PC.

Nov 15, 2022 · VR Performance Toolkit (VRPerfKit for short) adds AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution into VR games. It has a few other upscailing options as well. But FSR (for me at least) has worked best. All you really need to do is download the latest release, extract "dxgi.dll" and "vrperfkit.yml" into the ETS2/ATS directory, where the .exe file is.

i have also an 2080ti with 32gb ram and an 4790k. i would suggest to try to open the ETS2 config.cfg (with word pad or notepad++ or whatever) in your documents folder\Euro Truck Simulator 2, find and set interleaved_reprojection to "1" so that the game runs at half framrate and let the steamvr's motion smoothing do the rest. for me the game runs best on 90hz with 300% SteamVR Supersampling ...

Aug 13, 2017 · Hi guys, just bought and downloaded the original ETS 2 last night (original, no DLC) and downloaded the 1.27 Oculus / Vive Beta. I've got it all up and running with my G920 logitech wheel and enjoying it so far. The graphics to me look rather blurry and dated compared to all the screenshots I see on Steam. Am I missing something?

Jul 18, 2021 · In case you didn't know, you can now play Euro Truck Simulator 2 as well as American Truck Simulator in Virtual Reality with your Friends, even with your non-VR friends via the official convoy multiplayer! Works like a charm and is a lot of fun :-)

Nov 5, 2021 · Except for a few hours at first, I have only played ETS2 in VR and I couldn't imagine playing it any other way. I started with the Oculus DK1, when the resolution was so bad I couldn't read the speed limits, now the technology has come a long way (I have the Reverb G2) and everything looks so amazing (but you'll need a fast computer).

Feb 16, 2022 · Which VR headset do you have? Oculus or other headsets? On steam, look under betas and select the right version (it should still be: oculus - Oculus+OpenVR - 1.43 - (SDK 1.4.0)). In start option enter: "-openvr" or "-oculus" (based on what kind of headset you have) and deactivate start in VR cinema mode.
