Apr 13, 2022 · Em1 is 99-00 si. EJ1 as long as it’s not a DX/CX iirc. EM1s are 99-00 Si Coupes. Well, you’re right that’s it’s a fifth generation (92-95). Trim level determines the actual chassis code, but generally referred to as EG.

Feb 2, 2006 · your 98 coupe is an ej8. a regular 96-00 coupe (non si) is also an ej8. an si (99-00) is an em1. the only ek's are JDM despite what people claim. the correct chassis for a USDM 96-00 is an ej6. there was never a USDM ek manufactured. some people live in denial i guess...
