The car is a 2011 E93 335i Convertible. I'm trying to get to the emergency release from the inside of the car. I have the rear seats removed but there is a panel behind the seats that if removed may give me access to the trunk?

Sep 21, 2010 · Every time the trunk sounds like it's trying to open but doesn't actual raise up. When I try to pull up, it feels like the trunk is still latched. Then when I let go, the trunk auto closes (all of 3 mm that it does move).

Jan 25, 2020 · Like others have had leak into trunk on drivers side (kills your amplifier if it is submerged) or passenger (floods battery area). I finally visited my local dealer and talked to the shop foreman. He was super helpful and printed out a "measure" (read as service bulliten) for this issued by BMW.

Jan 24, 2019 · It seemed to have started when I fully closed the trunk manually instead it allowing the trunk to automatically fully close. The trunk on my 2012 335is conv. won't open more than the 3-5mm prior to hitting the latch. This car DOES NOT have a valet switch in the glove box.
