Jan 31, 2010 · The older 350's and 454's were the best in my opinion. The 460's are good but are hit or miss, I've seen reliable ones and I've seen ones constantly broke down. The only new MP I've had experience with is the MP7 and it was full of electrical problems.

Feb 10, 2015 · I run a mechanical E7-350 that has bigger injectors, turned up pump and advanced the timing. My pyro was running 1200 degrees and had 35 lbs. of boost. Was told to put on a 427 460 turbo So I did.

Jan 3, 2014 · We have a '96 E7 350 which was a fleet tractor. It had an inframe at 980,000. Mileage now is around 1,260,000. Engine starts good when cold, no oil leaks, pulls decent for a 350 IMO. Truck has a 9 speed Eaton. We've had the truck for 6 years and it has been one of the best investments I've ever made. Hour meter broke around 34,000 hours.

Nov 1, 2022 · Lol trying to increase the hp on a e7 350 in my 02 cv713 granite dump truck I have. It does pretty ok but it is definitely falling behind. At the quarry it works at, it misses out on an average of 1 load a day compared to all the other trucks running out of the quarry.

Mar 15, 2015 · For starters its a 95 mack rd E7 350 mechanical with 442 rears and eaton 9 speed First thing i did was get the pump turned up about 15-20 percent. I was happy with it. This was 50000 miles ago, truck has 450k on odometer now.

Mar 1, 2009 · We have a E7-350 in or '95 CH. A computer controls the rack, governor and timing, though. Damn fine engine. Almost 1 million miles on ours, and never been opened up. Don't recall the CID, but it's somewhere around a 12liter engine.

The E7 was a 12-liter -- 728-cubic-inch -- four-cycle engine that utilizes direct-injection technology. The total power rating of the E7 was between 250 and 454 horsepower at 1,700 to 1,800 rpm. In its 250-pony garb, the torque was 975 foot-pounds at 1,200 rpm.
