Feb 25, 2014 · The following build thread is the conversion of an E46 M3 into an E46 M3 GTR Street Car. Unlike most “GTR” conversion, you see people make, this is meant to be as close to factory as possible using parts that are available today. Unfortunately, some parts will have to be aftermarket, as the OE parts are no longer made or were never available.

Oct 25, 2013 · I think a S65 with DCT would be really fun in a E46 M3, more fun than in the E92. The GTR had a P60B40 which you simply would never buy because of price and availability. But the S65 was built because of everything the P60B40 accomplished. I'd say go for it. But if you want a bad-ass old school-style V8 I don't think the S65 is the right choice.

Sep 15, 2006 · Helgo- Joerg Mueller E46 M3 GTR 7.10 Secs, practice 2003 Ring 24 hour, Dirk Mueller E46 M3 GTR 7.12 secs, un-official practice 2002. Rummor, un-qualified, that Joerg Meuller has also done 7.01 secs which was 0.1 sec faster than the the Mattheny Porsche GT2, but this is not recorded and thus remains rummor, but was apparently witnessed

Jun 2, 2007 · I've been searching for about a year now for the actual m3 gtr body kit, hood, spoiler and wheels, etc etc etc. But so far i've only been able to come up with the hood and the engine. (Which is extremley expensive to transplant into a e46 and wouldn't suggest ripping your perfectley good m3 apart just to do this.

Feb 1, 2005 · The M3 however was powered by a V8 as opposed to the I6 in the production M3. BMW had to produce a V8 version and sell it to the public. In an attempt to keep the M3 GTR a limited production vehicle that would remain exclusive, and ultimately they didn't really want it to sell, just have it there to allow them to race.
