Oct 1, 2016 · The e46 is my daily driver and I get ths e36 out once a month for some spirited driving. I've attached a couple pix so you guys have an idea as to what I'm working with. The car is missing most of the plastic air duct/under carriage components and I want to replace them all to bring the car back to the way it was set up from the factory.

Jul 30, 2008 · The black thing in front of the left wheel IS the gas tank. There is no two or three gas tanks! The red thing in the rear, behind the wheels is the lower trunk space where the spare tire is kept. Know your E36 biology!!! Last edited by delmarco; 07-24-2008 at 01:24 PM.

Dec 5, 2021 · Check out Redish Motorsport on YouTube as they have some highly detailed videos focused on BMW undercarriage restoration. Mike Burroughs also has a great video in his E36 restoration series on the rear subframe and how he addresses a cracked unibody.

Sep 7, 2007 · There are 3 thin plastic undercarriage "parts" that go from wheel to wheel under the front bumper. Can someone tell me what these are called and how would I find them in the parts catalog.

Screw -quick release- for instance for the undercarriage engine plastic shield
