Mar 20, 2024 · They may have an AMG appearance package like wheels and what not, but it's not considered a "real" AMG. Those would be the E63. They did come out with the cheaper AMG E43/E53 but some don't consider those real either as I don't think they have hand built engines like the E63 did. An E300 or E350 wouldn't be considered an AMG.

Feb 4, 2017 · C43 AMG isn't a true AMG but if you're considering a C300 and, moreso, the E300, do you really need all that performance? It's quite a sporty car and VERY fast for the average person cross-shopping with the base E-class, and you mention nothing about driving performance/speed so I'm wondering why you're considering it.

Dec 30, 2022 · AMG takes cornering performance quite serious these days - even in a C43 and you will feel that. Also the tires make a big difference. I suggest test it. You will be more satisfied with a c400e or E300/450

What are the differences between an E200 and E300? I guess 300 just comes with more options as standard. Thank you in advance.

May 31, 2023 · eh, downbadging is like the millionaire who drives a $100k pickup truck so that he can pretend he's blue collar. it's poverty cosplay (not that an e300 is a cheap car either, which in a way makes it worse) you have something nice, just enjoy it for what it is. and if having the badge is too conspicuous for you just debadge it
