I accepted their offer because Dyno was severely undercapitalized & in need of Investment. I negotiated a contract with GT to design bicycle frames & components & to consult on a marketing strategy for them."

I replaced the original seat clamp with an NOS clamp of the same brand/style as the "Odyssey" logo was practically faded away and the nut and hex bolt were badly rusted. Other than a few NOS parts to replace the ones that weren't in a condition to restore, the bike was found with the parts you see on it (tires, mags, brakes, gyro, etc.).

May 17, 2010 · Some of the earliest Dyno race frames were last run of Pattersons. There was a disagreement between the Pattersons and GT over the way the last run of frames were made. They stickered up them frames as Dyno. The headtube of the frames at question have rings like the GT instead of the machined look of the Boss or earlier Patterson.

Seat - Dyno plastic flatland design, white Dyno logos on each side, 7mm rails and finger grooves underneath for easier grabbing during tricks, (this seat is very rare since it says Dyno in white letters on the sides instead of GT like 99% of the other plastic seats have)

Aug 5, 2020 · It's already been customized some, and it's beat up enough that a full factory restoration wouldn't make much sense, but you can definitely rebuild and tune up what's there. VFR was the lowest model that DYNO sold other than kids bikes, so it's not worth a whole lot, but you can make a fun, solid rider out of it.

Jul 18, 2017 · You can also see in this picture that the support plates around the seat tube on the 1987 Detour are completely open (basically two separate "Dyno" stamped plates, one turned upside-down and welded opposite, hence the logo on the bottom side too).
