Jan 23, 2012 · I make a chicken-andouille sausage with shrimp gumbo at least 10 times a year. Substitute duck instead of the chicken but I would def. use the andouille sausage (you can get it at Richard's meat market in Fayetteville.) Anyway, here ya' go: Fry your duck till almost done and throw your sliced sausages in to cook for a little bit.

Feb 2, 2024 · That's 4-5 pots of good gumbo, or a good bunch of poppers or fried duck for a get together. Makes me sick to see stuff like that, and it does nothing but give ammo to the anti-hunting crowd that says we are a bunch of Fudds that don't actually eat what we kill, etc.

Duck hunting is like that. 90% of the hunters might not be killing enough for a chicken/duck gumbo - but somebody has just the right conditions and is sacking them up.

Sep 3, 2015 · I'm about to put new tires on my ranger. Any recommendations on tires? I'm going 26" which is what's on it now. I mainly use my ranger for riding my kids around neighborhood and duck hunting. I have the terracross now and they did pretty good. Just wanted to see what you other waterfowlers like.
