Duba is a port city and ferries and ships operate from here for Egypt and Jordan. The Hurghada and Safaga ports of Egypt can be reached within about 3 hours (minimum) by ferry. It is strategically located at the starting point of Gulf of Aqaba that ends at Umm al Rashrash, Palestine and Aqaba, Jordan.

May 17, 2023 · In line with NEOM’s strategy and the Saudi Ports Authority’s efforts to transform local ports into globally competitive logistics hubs, the management of Duba Port was transferred from national maritime regulator Mawani, to NEOM in 2022.

OVERVIEW: A sheltered port, handling dry bulk, containers, passengers, Ro-Ro, project, offshore and breakbulk cargo. Major imports include building materials, industrial products, vehicles and foodstuffs. Ro-Ro passenger ferries operate between Duba and Safaga in Egypt. The port handles approx. 15,000,000 tonnes of cargo annually.
