Jun 8, 2021 · When referring to the mc of most DQ games, it's done by their title. In XI's case, it would be Luminary. Even the games where mc has a canon name (like Solo from 4) the title is more often correct.

The MC is the only one who can get the skill that lets him go into zone at will. Otherwise, you have to use very rare item(s) to do so. When multiple characters in the active party are in zone at the same time, you can use a combination skill called pep power.

Jan 23, 2021 · Of these, Greatswords and Swordmastery are hands down the best trees to invest in. Even if you’re going to dual wield swords, the Swords tree is of questionable worth. Sword skills are very bad and the whole tree only gives a handful of attack bonus nodes (+19 attack power vs +30 attack power and +25 strength in Greatswords).

He has a decent amount of survivability even without a Shield (Greatsword Guard + decently high defense), and the extra damage that Greatswords do helps a lot.

Depends on what you want to focus on. If you want to do damage, go with 2H. 1H swords allow you to use a shield, and can ultimately offer a bit more utility in exchange for raw damage. No idea.....
