The great bows the Dothraki use outrange the bows used in the Seven Kingdoms. According to Jorah Mormont, the Dothraki are utterly fearless.

The Dothraki traditionally fight with curved swords known as arakhs, but also employ bolas, daggers, and whips, or huge, recurved bows with impressive range and striking power that can be fired from horseback. They also shun armor, considering speed and freedom of movement to be more important in battle.

The Dothraki scene was nothing more than the directors showing the viewer just how f*cked the northern army is. We've seen a dothraki horde charge, and how they basically annihilated the Lannister army after highgarden.

In AGoT everyone seems to think Dothraki invasion is real threat. But has any character (Bobby B especially) ever thought that even if they'd succeeded to set sail to Westeros they would face Stannis Baratheon and Paxter Redwyne, the best naval commanders in Westeros.

Jul 29, 2018 · In Westeros, the best places to fight them would be Dorne (lots of sand, which they’re steeds aren’t equipped to handle, also mountains), the Vale (mountainous terrain would limit mobility and would make it easy to follow their progress and pick battlefields accordingly), and the Neck (bogs and swamps would be deadly to horses).

Aug 9, 2017 · If Dany has all the Dothraki she should have hundreds of thousands of men to fight for her. Not just tens of thousands. And we do know from the history of the fall of the Sarnori that they can mount sieges and bring cities down this way, too.
