Nov 7, 2012 · Two loans this week with name on DL not matching DOT. One DOT had name III and he said he is not legally the III!! Other had DL expired since April of 2012--she was not even aware of it. It seems they go by how the previous loan was recorded and never ck to see if name on DL is correct, current or expired. Signing took place before date on DOT and Note - Notary Rotary
May 19, 2006 · I accepted an order for e-docs for a signing that 'needs to take place tonight.' So I printed them and went to the signing. There was a grant deed changing the vesting and a rescission of homestead dated today - but the RTC, DoT, Note etc. were all dated the 19th. I changed the RTC dates and had the borrower initial.

May 2, 2005 · non-borrowing spouse signs mtg/dot only to make whatever interst that they have in the property subject to the mortgage. If default then their interest in property is also subject to being lost in foreclosure. TIL and RTC signed by non-borrowing spouse only regd to acknowledge receipt of those docs in order to comply with federal law.
An acknowleadgement for a settlement statement?
Jul 2, 2005 · complete CA ackn. so Im guessing it was for the DOT. So what I did was, I notorized that loose CA ack. and attached to the settlement st., and I also attached a loose ack. for the DOT. So probably I just over do it. But why doesnt world savings put the loose certificate close to the dot or at the 15 or 16th page. Sorry for my English.

Oct 10, 2009 · 1. Sometimes, 2 different groups do the package - TC and Lender. If application has Joe L. Borrower, a lot of the paperwork will have that name on it. Legals - DOT, RTC, etc. will have name as listed on current DOT. The TC/Lender want something to tie the 2 different names together. 2. Names on credit report often have multiple variations.

Whatever the law is in your state for identifying is important to you. I have originated many a FHA loan and never found a requirement of name from SS card. name on loan and vesting on DOT need to match the original deed and perhaps that is how your signer took title. of course they could do a QC to change that name.
