Jan 16, 2021 · It's the best console version of Doom already, and getting better every new release! I've been following this project since the public release, and have been playing all releases on real hardware. Unfortunately, as I presumed, this new release doesn't work with Mega ED X5, that only has "partial SSF2" support.

Jan 16, 2021 · This is how Doom should have been on the 32X, and playing through it after owning and playing the original 32X version for years was almost like playing an entirely new game. From what I've seen, the Jaguar version seems to basically be all ported over.

Jan 16, 2021 · Doom (E) (32X) Resurrection v1.5.rar Thank you so much, seems to be the correct file. This patch has different checksum than xdelta than the one I extracted from prepatched rom but resulted in rom with a same checksum and I double checked by extracting xdelta from resulting rom which gave matching checksum with the previous extracted xdelta.

May 26, 2023 · Maps consist mainly of hallways, which is a step down comparing to the original Doom. It also lack basic map tricks, like monster closets on your way back. The balance between health and monsters jumps high and low. I don't think the audience plays 32X Doom regularly to get used to its control right away, especially on an emulator.

Dec 29, 2009 · This makes it possible to see the contents of the WAD file from the 32X port of DOOM for anyone curious, as well as allowing people to modify it and create new (or port existing) levels and such. TO USE: Run the utility from the command prompt. To export a WAD from a DOOM ROM, type "wad32x in.32x out.wad". To import, type "wad32x in.wad out.32x"
