For example, one might draw the "Donjon" card, which has the following effect: Donjon. You disappear and become entombed in a state of suspended animation in an extradimensional sphere.

The description of the Donjon card from the Deck of Many Things says: You disappear and become entombed in a state of suspended animation in an extradimensional sphere. Everything you were wearing and carrying stays behind in the space you occupied when you disappeared. You remain imprisoned until you are found and removed from the sphere.

Google "D&D 5E MM spreadsheet" and you should find plenty of options. I have an Excel spreadsheet with name, type, page, CR. I don't know where I got it, but it may have been at this reddit. Those four columns are all it lists, so I hope it doesn't trample IP to link it.

Jan 27, 2017 · The number remaining is the number of cards you declared you would draw, not the whole deck. That aside, I'll continue with exactly what the rules say, and don't say. You the draw the first card, whatever it is, it happens. Then the other cards get automagially pulled an hour later. One of them is Donjon. Donjon reads: Donjon.

Jul 6, 2019 · While looking at Donjon.bin.sh's dynamic magic item creation system for 5e, converted from a similar Pathfinder system, I got a bit confused about the "Complete the item" challenge. One of the challenge's tasks, is "Provide the Requirements", where you have to "Meet all the item's prerequisites".

Both Donjon and Void has "You draw no more cards" in its description. However, the Deck of Many Things has this "autodraw" clause included in its description: If you fail to draw the chosen number, the remaining number of cards fly from the deck on their own and take effect all at once.

Aug 17, 2018 · I've used Donjon 5e Random Treasure Generator which seems to be a faithful implementation of the treasure tables. It will give you a specific spell or type of weapon/ammunition/armor when it generates something generic like Spell Scroll or +1 item.
