Dojran (Macedonian: Дојран [ˈdɔjran] ⓘ) was a city on the west shore of Lake Dojran in the southeast part of North Macedonia.

Doiran Lake (Macedonian: Дојранско Езеро, Dojransko Ezero; Greek: Λίμνη Δοϊράνη, Límni Dhoïráni), also spelled Dojran Lake[2] is a lake with an area of 43.1 km 2 (16.6 sq mi) [3] shared between North Macedonia (27.3 km 2, 10.5 sq mi) and Greece (15.8 km 2, 6.1 sq mi).

Dojrani është vend i njohur për një stil shumë të vjetër të peshkimit. Peshkatarët lokalë përdorin zogj (cormorants) për të përzënë peshkun në zonat e fortifikuara përreth kasolleve të peshkimit në ujë.

Дојран (друго име Полин, Поленин, Полјанин, варијанти Дорјан, Догрјан, гр. Δοϊράνη, Дојрани) ― историски град во југоисточниот дел на Република Македонија на брегот на Дојранското Езеро, којшто бил разурнат во Првата светска војна кога броел дури 18 000 жители. Dojran is a historic city in the southeastern part of the Republic of Macedonia on the shores of Dojran Lake, which was destroyed in the First World War when it numbered as many as 18,000 inhabitants. Besides the Lake on the Macedonian side, there are three settlements: Nov and Star Dojran and Nikolic with more than 4000 inhabitants.

Dojran is a touristic pearl in Eastern North Macedonia. It is made up of two fisherman's towns; Nov Dojran (settled from the end of World War I to World War II) and Star Dojran, which contains both old ruins and recent construction, especially hotels, resorts and restaurants. The only ways to get in are by car or by bus.
