Feb 15, 2017 · The ditch pig event late in November centered on the Meseta which has been organized by Rebekah Scott for several years should be expanded. The amount of trash we picked up this year in November between Castrojeriz and Bercianos was amazing.

Oct 19, 2021 · This, from a 2016 Ditch Pig volunteer - if you can do it - DO IT! You will be amply rewarded. Rebekah is a wonderful host. She has forgotten more about the Camino than you will ever know. Cleaning up others refuse is a defining experience. Once you have done it, you will never look at the Camino in quite the same way.

I got proud to be a Ditch Pig and I got prouder still when I met Reb and when we were down there in the ditches, hauling it out. And I realised that I could do what many have done before - claim my name.
