If the problem is a minor issue, I use the ball nosed scissors and steel comb, a spray bottle with warm water and a soft piece of terry cloth toweling.

Aug 16, 2016 · My cat has the exact same marks, which came after the ringworm infection on her ears cleared up. I took her to the vet to check up on something else and asked him about this, and he said it was nothing to worry about. It seems when one mark clears up, another appears. Jan 30, 2006 · I lived with a cat with this exact problem, and we would spray his butt with the mist setting, absolutely HAS to be the mistiest setting, your not trying to give him a colonic. Then he would clean his own butt, to lick the water off. Eventually he started cleaning his butt without the water. Sort of like a cat-butt carwash.
