Ps5 is performing better for the most part but had a bug in SDR mode that makes it look darker/higher contrast. They believe that the PS5 looking and performing better is more on the developer adjusting to the new Microsoft dev kits. Series X takes the win for 120hz mode due to VRR but again it has lower res textures and fill issues.

Dec 6, 2020 · Currently dirt 5 is the only true ps5 game I have at the moment, so I can't test with anything else, but it concerns me a bit that maybe it's my ps5 having issues. I watched digital foundry and they analysed there were some dips on pile ups, but they didn't test everything it seems. In some selected races I notice some problems.

Dec 6, 2020 · The geometry throughput of the ps5 has clearly been a highlight on both Dirt 5 and AC valhalla now. In areas with tons of particles and details (triangles in general) the ps5 is just a beast. I'm excited for what this means with regards to the first party games that naughty dog for example will come out with!

Jan 1, 2021 · I enjoy them both a lot. The both use the ps5 features well. WRC is probably a bit better with the dual sense, dirt 5 has 120 fps (if you have a tv/monitor for it, I do). But like everyone else said it comes down to preference. WRC is a sim and has a deep career mode. Dirt 5 is like half dirt, half motorstorm.

Dirt 5 is Dirt 5 lol.... you can't ever claim that the Dirt series is a sim racer of sorts because it isn't. If you like Dirt 1 through 4, then you'll like 5. Now.....

Jan 5, 2022 · For me this was false advertising. They made CrossPlay a talking point and it made it to several "Best CrossPlay"-Lists. I bought it to play with a PS5 friend and then discoveredd, that there was just no way to make it work with PC. Furtunately our tries lasted just under 2 hours, so Valve still gave me a refund. My friend on PS5 was less lucky.

I bought a second PS5 controller specifically to play split-screen with the wife, and after an hour of messing around in the start screen (with two accounts active and logged in on the console), multiple reboots, re-pairing controllers, etc, I absolutely cannot get the second user to activate.
