Dec 18, 2020 · Dirt 2 was and still is my favorite racing game of all time, and Dirt 5 is not a worthy sequel, in my opinion. It looks an feels too much like Onrush and nothing at all like Dirt. Oh well, at least my PC version of Dirt 2 scales great with new hardware. 4k/120 it's still amazing.

Apr 16, 2021 · Dirt Rally 1.0 + VR is without peer, it is far and away the best PlayStation rally driving experience. Sad to see Dirt 1 at last place in the poll, I am fairly confident nobody who played Dirt 1 in VR has voted for Dirt 2 in this poll, a huge downgrade to a PSVR owner. I'd be surprised if many even bought it. Lol Dirt 5.

Jul 26, 2021 · I beat Dirt 5, and enjoyed it but yeah mostly agree with you. I prefer sim-cade style games more (Forza) which I'd say the Dirt series was at least somewhat in, but for this entry they went full arcade. The AI was super easy, as was the handling, but it was an entertaining experience that didn't take much effort to be good at and have clean races.

Nov 30, 2020 · Dirt 5 definitely is closer to FH, it's much more forgiving and arcadey than WRC9. WRC9 is closer to Dirt Rally; it's a sim, you have to stay focused or you'll fail, you can tweak your car to get the best possible performance, set tires and repair your car, manage your crew and pay them etc. Both are great but very different games IMO.
