May 23, 2012 · The northern and southern hemispheres of Dione are seen in these polar stereographic maps, mosaicked from the best-available clear-filter images from NASA's Cassini mission. Each map is centered on one of the poles and surface coverage extends to the equator.

Apr 15, 2010 · This global map of Saturn's moon Dione was created using images taken during flybys by NASA's Cassini spacecraft. Images from NASA's Voyager mission fill the gaps in Cassini's coverage. An extensive system of bright ice cliffs created by tectonic fractures adorns the moon's trailing hemisphere, which is centered on 270 degrees west.

The global map of Dione is in cylindrical map projection at 250 meters per pixel. The map extends from 90N to 90S latitute from 0 t0 360 W longituted (right to left). Each map is available in two jpeg formats; plain map without borders, and annotated poster format with labels and suitable for large format printers.
