Dec 9, 2011 · There is no such thing as a "Dinan model" anyhow -- just a Dinan badge denoting a certain level of modifications with Dinan parts (as already mentioned above). Dinan was also not a factory dealer.

Of course, for that amount you could score a pretty nice E39 M5, but you have to admit this E28 is unique. Brand new engine by Frank Fahey, dyno'd at more than 460 HP. Wow!

May 25, 2010 · Here is what I'm starting with. B34 head partial rebuild. Dinan ported intake. And Big bore throttle body. Chris Kohler's mystery headers B35 Camshaft The job is underway. Compatible with all E28/E30 BMW models with the M20B27. DINAN EPROM chip installed. Dinan chip enhances upper-rpm performance by advancing ignition timing and raising rev-limiter by 500 rpm. Changes WOT conditions and makes the motor feel more responsive.

May 5, 2006 · The performance of the Dinan E28 M5 turbo is staggering. Using the advances in today's turbo technology versus the late 80s Dinan Turbo tech, I feel that one could produce a turbocharged S38B35 that has plenty of performance while remaining safe (r) for the engine.
