May 18, 2004 · The Valve FX was the replacement model for the GFX-1 (Twin Tube) which I acqured used about 2 years ago and like quite a bit (especially for the price I paid). It sounds much better to my ears than the GSP-21 (my first rack pre) and the MP-1 (which is why I still have the GFX-1 and not the other 2).
