Diahatsu has "Climber" model that comes with Diff Lock standard and lower gearing I think. Subaru uses 6sd with Extra Low 1st gear - no transfer case, Diff Lock is optional for standards and uses a fulltime 4wd for automatics.

Dec 8, 2015 · i use my diff lock every time i go into greasy mud. low range is a big plus i think. you can crawl over obsticals and you can go easier on the clutch. the 5 speeds came with both high and low plus the diff lock. also dump is also good if your hauling stuff around the farm.

Oct 22, 2008 · This is only the second time I've used it in 4-wheel drive and the first time I've used ultra-low gear and the diff-lock. I figured that flipping the diff-lock switch would mean the rear axles would be locked and that's that. However, it seems like this was only the case in ultra-low or first gears. At least, according to the diff-lock dash-light.

Nov 11, 2007 · Front Axle. Axle lock only engages the hubs, the differential remains open. There is no front differential lock for the Suzuki Carry. Wish someone would make a conversion kit. Rear Axle. Diff lock is an option on the 4WD versions. I had one that did not have the locking differential so I got a used axle with the diff lock and swapped it out.

Apr 14, 2008 · ok on my 92 hijet jumbo cab, is this a diff lock that is vaccum operated, or is it a 4wd actuator. its bolted onto the righthand side of the differential and the right hand cv shaft comes out of it to the wheel.
