Herbert or VH4, how to choose? - Rig-Talk
Sep 14, 2017 · The Herbert is unbelievably powerful. It's got tone shaping. It's a newer model to the Diezel amp lineage, but that doesn't mean it's meant for newer metal It's just a newer model of amp, just like the D-Moll came out and the Hagen and the Big Max - they're all just models of amps. And all of them are very special in their own special ways
Herbert vs VH4, differences - and similarities! | Rig-Talk
Feb 6, 2015 · I love the VH4 Ch3 / Herbert Ch2+ Diezel tone, and I plan on getting back into the Diezel game. I'm far off from any dealer so I'm looking for some advice about the other channels, here we go; Ch1, clean: To me the Herbert clean seemed more smooth and warm while the Ch1 on the VH4 was more bright and perhaps even somewhat harsh.
NAD - Diezel Herbert Mk III - Rig-Talk
May 26, 2019 · Nice dude. Very curious on Diezel amps. Never seen one in my neck of the woods, same goes for the JP2C. I got to hear the Invective live recently and sounded like a 5150 more or less. As for Slax vs Cali, I compared mine a few times but not cranked up too loud. The Cali has a different more open sound to it than the Slax in my opinion.
Collection of all kind of Diezel modifications - Rig-Talk
Feb 6, 2020 · It can be factory made (by Diezel Amplification) or made by any technicians.... or you. It would be very interesting to see/hear in which directions can be expanded the sound spectrum or the funcionality of the Diezel amps. It would be also great to read about customer wishes through the years from Peter himself ....
Diezel VH4 / Diezel Hagen - Reviewed / Compared - P1 - Rig-Talk
Feb 28, 2023 · I have owned and played a lot of amps over the years and this still seems to be the most totally unique sounding high gain tone available on the market (including other Diezel models). There is a reason that some of the most discriminating high gain players that have immediate access to everything (Jones, Bellamy, Hetfield, Corgan) have relied ...
Which amp has the closest sound to a Diezel VH4? | Rig-Talk
Jun 17, 2017 · The Diezel trademark sound to me has very particular compression, overall very aggressively voiced, and is absolutely tight all over. Both the Bogner and Diezel do tend to have emphasized low-mids. I have the VH4 pedal which can work as a preamp into the FX return, sounds pretty close really; that tight low-end and signature attack transient ...
Front loaded cab vs Rear loaded cab - Rig-Talk
Nov 3, 2009 · There is a reason Diezel & Fryette both front load, because it works. I like the gk speakers over the v30s on both the Herbert & Pittbull. Also like Eminence Texas Heat & Cannibas Rex. Would love to try the Lynch Super but WAY to $$$$$.
G12K-100 - Rig-Talk
Jan 11, 2011 · Yesterday I finally had the plessure to play my VH4 thru my Diezel frontloaded 4x12 loaded with Celestion G12K-100s in a metal band situation and I must say that it was the best metal guitar sound I ever had. These speakers really come to life when pushed hard. Absolutely incredible I can't say how much better they sound compared to the V30s IMO.
Diezel Einstein 100 -vs- Herbert -vs- VH4 - Rig-Talk
Dec 8, 2009 · While channel 3 of the VH4 is "the trademark" Diezel sound (close to Herbie ch2/+ mode and Einstein ch1/mode 3), the 4th channel of the VH4 "sings" a bit better (solos) and channel 2 of latest VH4s gives you the whole spectrum of crunch from (lets say) AC/DC up to where ch3 starts, the mega hotrodded stuff.
Diezel VH2 vs VH4 or Herbert? - Rig-Talk
May 30, 2019 · So I'm in the middle of deciding which Diezel I want to buy. I owned an Einstein quite a few years ago and remember it being a killer amp so that is on the short list as well. My main question is how the VH2 and VH4 really compare. Watching the official VH2 demo with both Peter's they suggested...
