Dhur or D°ur (Dzongkha: དུར་; Wylie: dur) is a town in western Chhoekhor Gewog, Bumthang District in central Bhutan. [1][2] Dhur is the main area where Brokkat, one of the endangered languages of Bhutan, is spoken. [3][4]

Mar 2, 2025 · Dhur Tshachu, also known as Dur hot spring, is a hot spring revealed by Guru Menlha renowned for its medicinal value to cure many diseases. The hot spring is located in the Dhur village within the jurisdiction of Wangchuck Centennial Park in the north of Bumthang Dzongkhag at more than 3500 meters.

Drive through Trongsa town to the broad and beautiful valley of Bumthang. After lunch in Bumthang visit Jambay Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang and Kurjey Monastery. Overnight at Hotel. (Distance 18 km, six to seven hours, 380m ascent, camp altitude 3,120m). The trek route follows the Yoleng Chhu, a river known for its abundance of trout.
