Axles can be built with a small positive camber built into the beam, typically 1/4” Positive Camber. This is referred to as a “Cambered Axle”. These axle beams are engineered with a slight upward bend so that when the load is placed on the trailer, the axle beam deflects to the load condition, enabling the tires to ride flat on the road.
