A demigirl (also called a demiwoman or a demifemale person) is a gender identity describing someone who partially, but not wholly, identifies as a woman, girl or otherwise feminine, whatever their assigned gender at birth. They may or may not identify as another gender in addition to feeling partially a girl or woman. AMAB and AFAB welcome!

I use demigirl because it feels like a combo of the womanhood that I socially occupy and the other that I feel I really am. This is reflected directly in my pronouns: fae/faer. Fairies are cutesy and associated with little girls and femininity and are pretty and nice and sexy and beautiful.

I currently identify with demigirl but that’s only because 1 when I first started questioning my gender identity someone told me it was that and not anything else so I 2 didn’t do much research but I’m wondering if genderfluid or non binary or even something entirely different is a better term.

(I’m AFAB, at the time I was cis female.) I really hope you were asking when you realized you were a demigirl not when you realized it existed cause that would be embarrassing, lol. Oh well.

Feb 20, 2023 · If you're an AMAB Demigirl, both parts of you feel disconnected from your birth gender, thus, not cis. AFAB Demigirls usually identify as cis/demitrans since part of you is still a girl, and AMAB Demigirls usually identify as trans/sometimes demitrans, since there's no connection to being a guy.
